Courtney Giordano, MAcOM, Dipl. OMAs a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, I am trained as a General Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I feel that the ability to heal already lies within each person and I strive to guide each of my patients to greater health. I use subtle distal needling techniques (treating you away from the area that hurts - focusing on your limbs and scalp). My focus on healing ranges from acute injuries and colds/flus, to chronic conditions such as arthritis, feelings of anxiety and depression, and long-term pain management.
My Story (the short version) I decided I needed a career change in 2006, after a course of weekly Acupuncture treatments saved my life. At that time, I had been struggling for more than a decade with feelings of anxiety and depression. I had lost jobs, lost relationships, lost friends, and lost hope. I was fed pills by my doctor and offered few other options. I watched my 20s pass me by. Thankfully, a dear friend recommended that I try Acupuncture to help with my struggle. I had had success with Acupuncture for things like back pain, but had no idea its health effects were so wide-ranging! After only a month of weekly treatments, I felt like a new woman. I had been given a gift that I want to share with each and every one of my patients, helping them achieve total health. |
